V International Tap Meeting

Tap On Barcelona is an International Tap Dance Meeting in Barcelona. During one week dancers from all around Europe meet in Barcelona to enjoy tap dance courses with the best teachers of the world, to know each other, and to be surprised by the complementary activities in the evenings.

2012 will be the fifth time for Barcelona to be the seat of the international tap dance event. We will celebrate it with a birthday party!

The Vth TapOn is scheduled for the: 23rd to 29th july 2012.

Tap dancers of all levels (basic to professional).

Registrations will start in may 2012. Pay attention to web updates or register on the mailing list, so you will receive an e-mail, when it's starting!

Tap fans can enjoy with the shows and jams in the evenings.

• A professional programm of tapdance courses and tap masterclasses with different levels, offering an overall of 145 hours of lessons. Classes will be hold during the mornings and afternoons. In detail the offer consists in 20 courses during 5 days for basic, intermediate and advanced level. 7 masterclasses will be hold during the week-end.

• A special activity is the sand dance course, hold in an outside location.

• Perfomances with famous international tapdancers from NY, Chicago, France, Finland...

• Tap jams in 3 emblematic locations of the town: Harlem Jazz Club, Nau Ivanow, Swingmaniacs.

• Conference - talk about tap dance, with the international teachers who will hold the courses for TapOn 2012.

• Other activities: tap dance photo exposition, grants for the next edition of the meeting.
